I did actually drop my landline a while ago to try save money. It was still pretty darn expensive on the contract I had, so I changed that too last month when it expired. Now I use a prepaid plan exclusively to stay in touch. A lot of people criticized me for making such a radical switch but it definitely worked out for the best. The carrier I use (NET10) has excellent coverage and I save roughly $25 every month. That adds up!
